Today I destroyed a desk that some poor carpenter spent long meticulous hours buliding. It probably took this guy more than 15 hours to make and install this elaborate piece of electronic casino art. It took Luke Ahrenholtz and I about 4 minutes to completely destroy it. I wonder about stuff like that sometimes, but only after the fact. I think the need for men to create is just as strong as the need to destroy. Kinda funny huh? Do you think that is an after “the fall” characteristic or a “made in the image of God” attribute? Well anyway, I had a whole heap of fun smashing that desk to pieces with my hammer and hands and feet, and several of the other random tools I found lying around. I have a swollen elbow to show for it too. Just another successful day here at ZHOP.

Now you’ve got me wondering…why did you destroy a desk?
Welcome to the blog world.

Yea.. after living in your house I’ve noticed that you just take stuff out when it’s in your way. Like how you always push me down the stairs… it hurts, ya know!!

What’s great about being a man is that I bet you felt more satisfied after destroying it then that guy did after building it. And he didn’t have any swollen elbows to show off as battle scars.
